The company history dates back to the early 1980’s and has a deeply rooted history in the agriculture industry.Nico Leonard, an agricultural engineer and dairy farmer studied various feed mixers to built a feed mixers for his own personal use. He designed this mixer on a drawing board, hand sketches and it was built in an old storage shed on the farm Hamsverwag. The design was so popular that soon some friends wanted one as well…..that is when “LEO Business“ was started , the first letters of Leonard.
The business has grown rapidly, the farm was sold in 1997 and the office moved to Hennenman to make LEO one of the most respected mixer companies worldwide.
